The SalvageApp was developed in 2019 in response to a key problem in maritime claims processing: a lack of transparency and inefficient communication between the many parties involved. Initiated by the bMC GROUP, a digital solution was created that significantly simplifies workflows in the event of shipping accidents – practical, intuitive and internationally applicable.
SalvageApp is a web-based platform that brings together all relevant information on a salvage or damage event in a structured manner. It enables real-time updates, progress reports, cost overviews and forecasts – all in one central location. Stakeholders such as owners, insurers or surveyors have access to all decision-relevant data at all times.
SalvageApp meets the highest standards in terms of data security and is already used by well-known insurers, P&I Clubs and claims service providers. The application is regarded in the industry as best practice for modern, digital claims coordination in the maritime sector.
