History

PANDI SERVICES J. & K. Brons GmbH is a long-established company based in Germany that specializes in claims management in the shipping and transport industry. Founded in 1865 as an offshoot of the trading company Y. & B. Brons in Emden, it has acted as a P&I Club correspondent since 1902 and has been part of the bMC Group since 2017.

Certification

Since August 2019, PANDI SERVICES’ quality management system has been certified in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard, underlining the company’s commitment to high quality and continuous improvement.

Services and expertise

The company offers comprehensive claims management services, including:

  • Ship damage: handling claims in maritime and inland shipping, including groundings, salvage, wreck removal, ship arrests, collisions and environmental damage.
  • Cargo damage: Management of damage to cargo and containers, including uncollected goods and shortages.
  • Crew: handling personal injury, accidents, fatalities, medical expenses and labor disputes.
  • Non-marine claims: claims in multimodal transport, transport liability claims, air freight and road transport claims as well as major claims and accident investigations.

In addition, PANDI SERVICES organizes services for its customers such as issuing guarantees, commissioning experts and lawyers, as well as various inspection and control measures.

The company is represented at several locations, including Hamburg, Bremen, Rostock, Wilhelmshaven, London and Singapore, and has an international network of correspondents.

PANDI SERVICES is an established player in the field of claims management for the shipping and transportation industry and acts as Network Partner of TT Club, a leading insurer in this sector.
